The Los Banos Airport is a General Aviation Airport with 3,000'x 75' runway with a full return taxiway. There are currently 24 based aircraft at the Airport, and plans are in the works to expand the number of hangars by eight T-hangars, and one 120'x85' corporate hangar. The latest Airport Master Plan was completed in 1995 and covers the planned expansion, as well as, projected use of the Airport for a period of 20 years (1995/15). If you wish to look at the plan, you can do so at the Public Services Office or Los Banos City Hall. You can also purchase copies of the plan for $20.00 each. Available fuel types are 100LL and 80/87. (Jet-A to be available late 1998). Security fencing surrounds the Airport and access is provided to users by an automated gate. |
